ARCOLA -- Christopher Duane Abbott, 14, of Arcola died at 7:58 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 23, 1986) from injuries sustained from falling out of a pickup truck.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola. Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
He was born June 4, 1972 in Decatur, a son of Jesse J. and Linda L. Hall Abbott.
Survivors include his parents, Jesse and Linda Abbott of Arcola, three brothers, William, Daryl and Adlia all at home; one sister, Crystal at home; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Burr Hall of Arcola.
He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, Arcola and a student at Arcola Junior High School.
