LENOIR - Mrs. Jesse Evelyn Broyhill Greer, 76, of Maehill Place, died Friday, March 9, 2001, at her home.
Born Nov. 12, 1924, in Wilkes County, she was the daughter of Issac Jefferson and Ada Bell Carlton Broyhill.
She was a retired schoolteacher.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lenoir and a member of the Samaritan Sunday School class.
She was a sister of Alpha Delta Kappa sorority, Omicron Chapter. She taught 36 years in the Caldwell County Schools.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Greer.
Burial was in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
