Kenneth, 71, McCartyville, died at 1:15 p.m., at Heritage Manor Nursing Center.

He was the son of Joseph and Josephine (Depweg) Wenning. On Sep 14, 1963, in St. Henry, he married Marciel L. "Marcy" Schmackers, who preceded him in death. On Aug 8, 2006, he married Barbara (Feltz) Boeckman, who survives in McCartyville.

Also surviving are four sons: Joseph (Terri), Kalida, Jeffery (Tamara), Arcanum, Scott, NC, and Patrick (Leigh Anne), Sidney; two stepsons: Timothy, Osgood, and Toby Boeckman, St. Marys; three stepdaughters: Sheri (Kevin) Pohlman, Maria Stein, Stacey (Brent) Bruggeman, McCartyville, and Stephanie Boeckman, St. Marys; a brother, Mark (Joan), St. Henry; two sisters: Bernice Barga, Montezuma, and Madonna (Joseph) Rose, Coldwater; a step daughter-in-law, Theresa Boeckman, Coldwater; two sisters-in-law: Alberta and Betty, both Coldwater; and eighteen grandchildren and four great-granchildren.

Deceased are a stepson, Ty; two brothers: Isadore and Norbert; and four sisters: Julietta (Ralph) Muhlenkamp, Hilda (Carl) Axe, Rosemary (Cornelius) Muhlenkamp and Virginia (Harry) Streacker.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, where he was on the Mission Commission and a volunteer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the American Legion, Minster, F.O.E. #1391 Minster & the McCartyville Knights of Columbus. He retired from Crown Equipment, New Bremen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, with Rev. John Tonkin officiating.
