Dallas C. Alley, 66, of Hillsville, Va., died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, in Trinity Mission Nursing Home.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. at the River of Life Ministries Church of God of Prophecy at Poplar Camp with the Rev. Donald Byrd and the Rev. Steve McDonald officiating. Interment will be follow in the Pickett Cemetery in Carroll County, Va.

He was born in Carroll County, Va., a son of the late Ransom and Ina Pickett Alley. He was a former employee of Bassett Furniture Company. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Danny Rhoades of Austinville, Va.; one grandson, Chris Rhoades of Austinville, Va.; one sister and brother-in-law, Naomi and David Hagee of Roanoke, Va.; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Shirley Alley of Radford, Va., Ellis and Betty Alley of Woodlawn, Va., Rudolph and Judy Alley of Max Meadows, Va., and Boyd Alley of Woodlawn, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Home or anytime at the residence of his daughter, Rebecca Rhoades, 127 Haphazard Road, Austinville, Va. Reese Funeral Home in Austinville, Va., is in charge of the arrangements.
