PROMINENT BLAIRMORE CITIZEN PASSES TUESDAY
Death on Tuesday morning early called to his eternal reward Sylvester Joseph Lamey, aged 57 years.
Born in Hastings, Ontario, he came to the Pass in 1918, being connected with the Union Bank here, later taking over the management at Bellevue, from which he resigned a few years ago to open an insurance agency her. His son Frank entered into partnership with him a couple of years ago.
He is survived by his wife, son Frank, and one daughter, Mrs. Youngberg, of Bellevue.
Funeral service was held at St. Anne's church at 10.30 on Thursday morning, Rev. Dean M. A. Harrington officiating. The remains were laid to rest in St. Anne's cemetery.
