She was the widow of Fred Calvert.
Mrs. Calvert was born in Lewis County on Sept. 12, 1905, daughter of the late Samuel W. White and Myrta Pollitt White. Mrs. Calvert is survived by three children from her first marriage to Elmer Hardymon. The are Evelyn Mullikin (and Jack) of Burtonville, Charles Hardymon (and Ruby) of Burtonville and Wayne Hardymon of Tollesboro. She is also survived by a sister, Helen Hardymon of Tampa, Fla.; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Surviving also are three stepchildren, Carol Moore of Vanceburg, Frances Polley of Tollesboro and Daisy (and Carl) McCann of Tollesboro.
Preceding her in death were five children, Kenneth Hardymon, Elwood Hardymon, Stanley Hardymon, Dianne Hardymon and one stepson, Bill Calvert. Preceding her in death also, were five brothers and sisters, Vernard White, Lester White, Lucy Cropper, Edna Clary and Alma Applegate.
