MRS. HATTIE J. CARR
Mrs. Hattie J. Carr, 77, who lived
with her daughter, Mrs. Frank Robins
at 184 Lincoln avenue, died last even-
ing at the DeGraff Memorial hospital.
Born in Michigan Mrs. Carr had resided
in North Tonawanda since her early
childhood. She was a member of the
Women's Benefit association, Daughters
of America, the Royal Neighbors, the
Progressive Club, the Third Presbyterian
Church and the Ladies' Aid Society of the
church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. F. H.
Buike, Mrs. Hattie Lewis, Mrs. Genevieve
Archer and Mrs. Robins of North Tonawanda
and Mrs. Alice Pahl of Newfane, N. Y.; two
sons, Robert and Ernest Carr of Tonawanda,
25 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Rites will be held Monday at 3:15 from
Hilliard Funeral Home, 147 Delaware street.
The Rev. William F. Saye will officiate.
Burial will be in Elmlawn.
