"May C. Firestone of New York City died 25 of October 1908 at the home of her mother , Mrs. Ambrose Kearney of Ann Arbor, MI. Her death certificate gives her parents as Keran Costello and Mary O'Hara She is buried in Dexter in St Joseph's Catholic Cemetary (next to her father) her father died Jan 1870.
Also found in Dexter Leader (news paper) May Costello, dau. Of Mrs. A. Kearney of Ann Arbor married Elmore S Firestone of Detroit Jan. 2 1888. Hope some of this May help! The forum I'm finding much of this information is Ancestry. It is very sad to read bc a lot of Elmer's ancestors call themselves the lost Firestones! It is like Mary's children were forgotten about.
Another son Dewitt Firestone buried in Columbiana Cemetery - waiting to be linked to her 10/27/2014. A daughter, Catherine A Firestone marrked Mervin Ake. She died 1980 in Akron Ohio and still looking for her burial.
Per 1900 she birthed 6 children, 5 living. Have accounted for all except last daughter born 1897.
The daughter, Mary Elizabeth Firestone born 1897 may have stayed with her mother, Mary Costella Firestone and raised by grandmother. She would have been only 10 when mother died of TB. She married Theo Baars from Florida.
