Bro. Charles O. Dinkins age 93 of Hanceville, AL formerly of Mayfield passed away at 1:45 AM Saturday March 5, 2016 in the Hanceville Rehab and Nursing in Hanceville, AL.
He was a member of the Locust Fork Baptist Church and a retired minister.
He is survived by his daughter- Emily Harris of Locust Fork, AL, 3 sons- Paul Dinkins of Mayfield, Ronnie Dinkins of Locust Fork, AL and Richard Dinkins of London, KY, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife- Virginia Dinkins and his parents- Robert and Irene Owen Dinkins.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday March 11, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Bro. Rufus Harris and Bro. Ronnie Stinson, Sr officiating.
Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery in Paris, TN.
Friends may call after 9:00 AM Friday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Cook, Bobby Motheral, Larry Taylor, Lanny Wiman, Craig Worley, David Wright.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dan Casteel, George Cook, Bryan Fite, Carl Mathis, Leon Terry, and Howard Worley.
