He married Maxine Ruth Bollhoefer and fathered the following children: Linda Darlene Gibson, John Fleming Gibson, Judith Diane Gibson, Jeffrey LeRoy Gibson, Micheal Lee Gibson. They divorced and he later married Clemencia(Wright)Allard Sage and was step father to 4 of Clemencia's boys; Gary Sage, Darryl Sage, Roger Sage and Don Allard. Leroy spent most of his life in and around the Monmouth and Kirkwood area. He lived briefly in Marion, Indiana and also Michigan where he and CLemencia managed a mobile home park. Leroy and Clemencia, later returned to his hometown area, where he resided until he passed away.

Gravesite Details
NOTE: Clemencia is not actually buried at this site. Following Leroy's death, Clemencia remarried and relocated to Michigan. She is buried in Traverse City, Mi.
