She was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church of Mount Pleasant and very active in Alter Society, and Rosary Group for many years. She also taught Catechism for 20 years and was Eucharist Minister for many years.
Faye leaves her husband of 68 years, Joe L. Buford of Mount Pleasant, Texas; their children, R. Lee Cubby Buford of Dallas, Texas, Maury and Dana Buford of Grapevine, Thomas and Charlotte Buford of Waxahachie, Texas, Celine Allan of Dallas, Texas, Cassandra Tan and Bernard Houlihan of Dallas, Texas, Bette and Kim Lynne of College Station, Texas, and Amanda and Kenny Hawkins of Mount Pleasant, Texas; foster son, Donnie and Sandra Richardson of Marietta Georgia; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; loving caretaker, Brenda Blevins of Mount Pleasant, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tommy Adams.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 19, 2013 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, followed by interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rosary will be held at 5:30 Wednesday, September 18, 2013, visitation will follow 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family request that memorials be made to the Building Fund at St. Michael's Catholic Church or Cypress Basin Hospice
