James R. Brooks, 38, of Montgomery, died Monday, December 11, 1989 at Sandwich Community Hospital. He was born November 17, 1951 in DeKalb, IL, the son of James L. and Viola Lucio Brooks of Montgomery.
He is survived by one sister, Barbara Jean Brooks of Flagstaff, AZ, two aunts: Dorothy (Fred) Bend of Waterman, IL, and Beverly Swanson of Eau Claire, WI, one uncle: Rev. Edward (Jane) Heyer of Sheridan, IL, and a nephew, Nicholas Brooks of Flagstaff, AZ.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 14, 1989 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, Hinckley at 2 PM.
Pastor Jack Ficken will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hinckley. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, Hinckley from 5-8 PM
