She was of the Holiness Faith and enjoyed gardening, talking about the old days, and time with family and friends especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, her husband of over 50 years Harvey H Carter; 5 brothers: Eddie Hubbard, Alvin Hubbard, Jimmy Hubbard, Arvil Hubbard, and Johnny Messer; and a sister: Edith Brock preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving children: Kim Elizabeth David and husband Justin of Corbin and Harvey Charles Carter and fiancé Jessica of Danville, KY; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Carter will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 6, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
