Obituary for Floyd D. Spradley was born and raised on a farm. He had farmed in Coryell County, Texas and moved to Lubbock, Texas from Collin County between 1935 and 1940, where he established a furniture reupholstering company. He and his children did most of the labor. When he retired they moved to Goldthwaite, Mills County, TX where he enjoyed many years of health before he died, eight years after his wife. They are buried together in Goldthwaite Cemetery. Two sons and five daughters survived him.
