Mr. Wilkins died Friday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson, Miss.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Tallulah, an asbestos abatement supervisor, an Army veteran and a member of the Montrose Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Penny C. Wilkins of Tallulah; two sons, Toby Wilkins and Corby Wilkins of Tallulah; his father, Hubert Wilkins of Tallulah; his mother, Gloria Arender of Tallulah; two sisters, Cynthia Machen of Tallulah and Tammi Arender of Monroe; one brother, Stan Wilkins of Plain Dealing; and his maternal grandfather, Benjamin H. Prewitt of Tallulah.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Deckelman, Skip Smith, Randy Orrell, Kent Orrell, Rodney Orrell and Merrick Brown.
