Ibra Marshall Houston, 89, of Indianapolis, formerly of Columbia, died
Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997, in Indianapolis.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at Memorial Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Houston was born Oct. 7, 1908, in Carroll County, Va., to Daniel and Lora
Hollensworth Marshall.
She married Everett Houston, and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Columbia. She was retired from
Boone County Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Mills of Indianapolis and Linda Kay
King of Jefferson City; a brother, Guy Marshall of Vandalia; two sisters, Edna
Coss of Vandalia and Ava Cornish of West Virginia; four grandchildren; and
four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son.
