Mrs. Howard J. (Zola) Fischel Hillier, 63, 1090 N. Farnum St., Galesburg, died at 8:30 a.m., Monday at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, at the First Christian Church, Galesburg, with Rev. J. T. Moore, officiating. Burial will be in Peniel Cemetery, Joy.
VIsitation is this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hinchliff, Pearson, West Mortuary in Galesburg. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or to the American Cancer Society.
Zola Coziahr was born Oct. 1, 1923, a daughter of Arthur and Mildred Murray Coziahr. She married William Fischell. Later she married Edward Moffitt. They preceded her in death.
She married Howard Hillier in Galesburg on Mar. 4, 1972.
He survives with a son, George Fischell, Nashville, TN; three daughters, Mrs. Diane Bjork of Decatur, Mrs. Sally Likes of Larned, KS, and Mrs. Sue Mischeler of Newburgh, NY; five brothers, Elmer Coziahr of Cambridge, Arthur Coziahr of Wataga, and Lewis and Pete Coziahr of Galesburg and Rodney of Pekin; five sisters, Mrs. Elsie Law of Galesburg, Doll Millen of Rio, Myrtle Lindstrom of Galva, Doris Williams of Victoria, and Alice McGee of Altona; sixteen grandchildren; 3 step-sons, James Moffitt of Lincoln, IL, John E. and Howard Hillier Jr., both of Knoxville; and two step-daughters, Gloria Hillier and Polly Mundy, both of East Galesburg.
Mrs. Hillier was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She resided in Aledo for 20 years, moving to Galesburg in 1972.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Galesburg and past president of the Republican Women's Club.
