"Mrs. Carrie Mashburn, 56, 1726 Mississippi St., St Louis, a former St Joseph resident, died Sunday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy McKinzie of Brookfield. The wife of Bill Mashburn, she had been in poor health for some time.
Born near Albany, Mrs. Mashburn lived here prior to moving to St Louis three years ago, her home being in the 1200 block of Frederick avenue. Her last place of employment was at the Wilson Nursing Home.
Survivors, in addition to her husband and daughter, include another daughter, Mrs. Norma Reynolds of St Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Mallory and Mrs. Florence Dennis, both of St Joseph; one brother, Chester McAlexander of St Joseph; and grandchildren.
