JOHNSON CITY, TN-
Pauline Howington Palmer, 89, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Hillview Health Center, following a brief illness. Mrs. Palmer was born in Trenton, Georgia to the late Henry Dewey and Chessie Mae Atkinson Howington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend William Jackson Palmer in 2005; a daughter-in-law, Mary Nell Palmer; and eleven siblings.
Mrs. Palmer was a homemaker and was a member of Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ.
The funeral service for Mrs. Palmer will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ, with Pastor Donny Reagan and Rev. Jack Benton, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church, following the service on Monday.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon, Georgia with Rev. Milton Bethune, officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 AM on Wednesday.
