The funeral of Mrs M M Burdiss, who died Sunday, was conducted Wednesday from the Catholic church and interment made in the Catholic cemetery.
Mrs Burdiss was about 65 years of age and the immediate cause of her death was heart trouble. She was the wife of James Burdiss of East Beckley. She leaves a husband, five sons and three daughters to mourn her loss.
Undertaker C C Rose had charge of the funeral arrangements.
