Funeral services for Lessie Adams Boies 92, a retired LPN of Winnsboro, will be held at 10 am Monday January 30, 2012, in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Autman officiating. Interment will be at Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, LA. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 pm Sunday January 29, 2012.
Lessie was born March 31, 1919 in Mangham, LA, and passed from this life on January 28, 2012 at Mary Anna Nursing Home Wisner, LA.
She is preceded in death by her mother Eretta Duckworth; her first husband Crawford Paul Adams; second husband Reese Boies; sister Tressie Thomason; nephew Carl Pittman; two stepsons Billy Boies and Jimmy Boies; step son in law Murray Eppinette.
Survivors include two sons Rev. Doyle Adams and wife Sue of Mangham, LA; Don Adams and fiancé Deborah of Ruston, LA; step children Mary Ellen Eppinette of Garland, TX and Charles Boies and wife Tina of Franklinton, CO; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joey Adams, Jon Adams, Jason Adams, Glen Boies, David Howard and Jim Wright.
