Robert (Bobby) Teeler, beloved and cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend to many, passed away peacefully at his home in Austin, Texas, on Friday, May 28, 2010, at the age of 71 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 28, 1938 in Goforth, Texas.
Bobby served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and retired as a Tech Sergeant. He continued his career by working for the Parks and Wildlife Department as a Park Ranger for 21 years.
His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jan (Cowan) Teeler; his sons, Robert (Bob) Teeler and wife, Sandy of Houston, Richard Teeler of Salado, Gary Teeler and wife, Janice of Round Rock and Jason Teeler of Austin; brother, Bill Teeler and wife, Patty of Post, sisters, Jean Price and Bobby of Marietta, GA, Barbara Cowan and husband, Richard, Helen Whited and husband, Charles and Lola Bell all of San Marcos; grandchildren, Christi Teeler of Dallas, Courtney Teeler, Madison Teeler, Caitlyn, Teeler, Macy Teeler, Jason Teeler Jr. , Jalen Teeler and Jasmine Teeler.
