Melba Sue Standridge left her loving friends and family to take her place next to the lord on December 30, 2012. Melba was born April 15, 1939 in Dardanell Arkansas to the late Vernon and Bernice Jones. She was a loving daughter and big sister; she sang on the radio as a little girl and was known as "Jonesy" on the 1956 Ola basketball team. Melba was a loving mother, Art Teacher, Real Estate Broker, and Pilot. She was passionate about Singing, Reading, Politics, and Equal Rights. Melba also served her community as Justice of the Peace for North Little Rock.

Melba is survived by her two daughters; Kelly Warne and Husband John, Leigh Ann Dennis and Husband Jeffrey; One Son John Standridge Jr. One Sister; Pat Pedigo and Husband Jack and Nephews; Jack Jr. and Michael all of Little Rock; Three Grandchildren; Chase Standridge, Taylor Spruiell, and Jacob Standridge; she was also loving called Nana Bo by Donna, Pamela, Lauren, Kimberly, Jayden, Gage, and Lily. Melba is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Melba's life will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday January 5, 2012 at the Clarksville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Schouweiler officiating.
