Bob was born September 8, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN a son of the late Earl & Edith LaFary Moody. He married Lou Ellen Barnes in 1949 and she preceded him in death in 1998.
He was a wood worker many years a the former Schnadig Furniture Company. Bob was a Army veteran of WWII. He held the rank of Tech 4, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and Japan. He was a former member of the Manilla Lions Club and active member of Main Street Christian Church where he sang in the choir for 43 years.
He is survived by his companion and caregiver Bonnie Linville, four nephews, Mike (Theress) Moody, Steve Moody & Richie (Della) Watson all of Rushville, Scott (Grace) Moody of Texas; two nieces Mary and Loretta also survive.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers.
