Ralph G. Starr

Services for Ralph G. Starr, age 61, of Elkhart will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Bill Gernenz officiating and eulogy by Mark Brown. Burial will follow in Starr Cemetery.

Mr. Starr died Thursday at Palestine Regional Medical Center. He was born October 24, 1943, in Palestine to Allen Donald and Loyetta Baker Starr. Mr. Starr was a Baptist. He was employed with Wal-Mart Warehouse #6005. He was a machinist most of his life. Mr. Starr was secretary-treasurer for Walston Springs Water and an avid fisherman.

Mr. Starr was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Ann, and a brother, Wayne D. Starr.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Theresa Starr of Elkhart; parents, Donald and Loyetta Starr of Lake Jackson; children, Gene, Keith, Daffney, Ricky, Josh, Donna and Jeff; sister, Gwen Agnew and husband, Allen, of Angleton; a brother, Glen Starr of Conroe; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Winsel Salmon, Darrell Baker, Vernon Baker, Jordan Ross, David Baker and Paul Senesac.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Brown, Larry Baker and Larry James.

Condolence calls will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Bailey & Foster, Palestine.
