Melvin C. Golay, Cambridge, Dies
CAMBRIDGE CITY - Melvin C. Golay, 72, died Sunday morning in Reid Memorial Hospital, Richmond, following a long illness. (His birth year was approximated.) He was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Nevada Golay; three sons: Charles R. Golay & Don E. Golay, both of Cambridge City and Russell Golay of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sherman Evans of Winter Haven, FL; and three brothers: Glen Golay of Milton and Arvin & Emory Golay, both of Dublin.
The body is at the Howard and Son Funeral Home where friends may call and where services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. H. H. Stansbury officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
