Mrs. Barbara Lee Cody, 86, of 1421 S. Walnut St., formerly of New Berlin, died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday at Park's Memorial Home, Auburn.
Mrs. Cody was born in New Berlin and had lived in Springfield for 35 years.
She was employed as a housekeeper at the Ursuline Convent for 11 years and retired 20 years ago.
She was the daughter of Maurice and Emeline Campbell Lee and married John W. Cody who preceded her in death in 1913.
Five sisters and seven brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Barbara E. Albright, Springfield; five sons, Thomas J. Cody, Canton; John W. Cody, Loami; Robert E. Cody, New Berlin; Joseph W. Cody, Sacramento, Calif.; Maurice G. Cody, Shreveport, La.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Miss Sara Lee and Mrs. Loretta Knepler, both of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Aloysius Schwarz officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
