Mrs. Emily M. Brooks, 70, wife of George Wednesday Washburn Avenue. She was born at Calais, Oct. 7, 1880, daughter of the late Everett and Sarah Mallett Glidden, and was educated In schools there. Surviving are three sisters. Mrs. Marlon G. Peterson, Portland: Mrs. Effle Huff, Orr's Island, and Mrs. Zadie Omar, Eloise, Mich., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at 749 Congress Street. Interment will be In Evergreen Cemetery.
