Michael G. "Duke" DuClon (1974 - 2013)

FRANKLINVILLE - Michael G. "Duke" DuClon, of Route 16, died Wednesday (Aug. 28, 2013) at his home following a long illness.

Born Oct. 27, 1974, in Springville, he was the son of Gary and Sharon Wentland DuClon. He was married to Merissa Kurowski, who survives.

Duke was a graduate of Pioneer High School and was employed at Ontario Knife Co. in Franklinville for the past six years. He also worked for Close's Racing Supply of Eldred, Pa., for many years, and Jamison Roofing of Buffalo.

He was a welder and fabricator by trade who loved ice fishing, racing, camping, kayaking, golf and the outdoors. He was a member of the NRA and the IOOB No. 1517 of Franklinville.

Surviving besides his wife of Franklinville is an infant daughter, Mia DuClon at home and his parents of Yorkshire, a brother Gary (Shanda) DuClon Jr. of Delevan; maternal grandmother, Florence Wentland of East Aurora; and in-laws, William "Moe" and Lisa Kurowski of Franklinville.

Interment will be in Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Franklinville.
