Rosamy (Rosa) Belle Page was born to James
and Harlett Isabella Page at Thayer, Crawford
County, Missouri on May 1,1874 and departed
this life at Marysville, Kansas on March 8,
1962 at the age of 87 years, 10 months and
7 days.
She was married to Samuel F. Denman on
October 25, 1889. To this union, nine children
were born.
Survivors include her sons, AdenW., Elvaston
Illinois, Fred A., Woodston, and James A.,
McMinnville, Oregon and daughters Mrs.
Frank Orr, Frankfort, Mrs. Viola Albright and
Mrs. Golda Stewart of Wichita.
She was baptized into the Baptist Church at
the age of thirteen and was loyal to her faith
throughout her life.
She came to Kansas with her husband and two
small sons where she spent most of her life in
Osborne and Rock counties. She came to
Frankfort about 25 years ago.
She was married to Otto W. Swenson, January
3, 1946 and lived her until about five years
ago when they went to Marysville where they
have since resided.
The past 14 years of her life she had suffered
illnesses and was confined to a wheel chair.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband,
Otto; three sons, four daughters, thirteen
grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren
and four great-great-grandchildren; one sister
Mrs. O.P. Larue, Fowler, Colorado and a host
of nephews, nieces and friends.
