Services for Roy H. Bryan, 73, of Huntington, will be held in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Huntington.
Roy H. Bryan was born March 29, 1940 in Whitehouse, Texas, the son of the late Lela (Lemley) and Luther D. Bryan, and passed away September 13, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Bryan was an avid reader and he enjoyed playing banjo and playing musical instruments with his brothers. He served in the United States Army and was a professional barber.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian L. Bryan; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Bill Groze; son and daughter-in-law, Whalen and Stacy Bryan; daughter, Charlotte Langley; daughter and son-in-law, Dale and Terry Brooks; son and daughter-in-law, Alton and Cindy Langley; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Tina Langley; sisters and brother-in-law, Merle McDonald, Ruth Nichols, Nell and Charles Crisp; and brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Hellen Bryan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, John Langley and brothers, Waymon Bryan and Norman Bryan.
Services are in the care of Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home
