Florence Elizabeth Wilkins, 89, of Manassas, died on Aug. 11, 2005, at Oak Springs of Warrenton. She was a registered nurse and physical therapist and active in the United Methodist Church her entire life. She was born in Leatherwood, Pa., and was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Alice Allen and a daughter, Patricia Ruth Wilkins. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Elmer W. Wilkins of Manassas; daughters, Emily Turner of Lanoka Harbor, N.J., and Dorothy Hintz of Warrenton, Va.; a brother, Richard Allen of East Aurora, N.Y.; and grandson, Blake Hintz of Warrenton, Va. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church, Friendship, N.Y. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
