James Leslie Dickinson was John Wesley Dickinson's identical twin brother. Stories passed down through the family are that their parents had difficulties telling them appart by their appearance, and their teachers could not tell them apart.

The top photo at the right shows the twins (unsure which was which in the photo) in c1917 (thus, c12 years old) with two of their grown dogs and a puppy.

The middle photo of Leslie on his horse was taken c1927 (thus when Leslie was c22 years old).

Happy times on the family farm in Green (near Kenedy) Texas.
