George Assaley II, 49, of Charleston died March 4, 2000, in Resurrection Hospital, Chicago.
He was senior vice president of investments with First Union Securities, a member of St. George Orthodox Church, was a supporter of "Spirit of the Valley" and a member of United Way Capitol Club.
Surviving: wife, Misti Hayes Assaley; daughters, Simone and Kara at home; son, Alex III at home; mother, Eva Zakaib Assaley of Charleston; brothers, Joseph of Huntington, Lewis of Cincinnati.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home with the Rev. Olof Scott officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
