MURRAY MICHAEL BLOSE
Murray Michael Blose went peacefully from this life to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 8, 2013. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by family on the farm he loved. He was born to James and Hazel Blose on Dec. 6, 1933 in Tuskegee, Okla. He graduated Drumright High School in 1951, obtained his B.S. in mathematics from Northeastern State, Tahlequah, Okla. in 1954; received his M.S. from OSU in 1957; and performed post graduate work at Penn State University.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hazel, and sisters Joy Fine and Jimilee Chastain. He is survived by two brothers, William and Volney Blose, a sister, Carol Kuykendall-Woodard, his wife of 58 years, Kay Blose. He also leaves behind son David and wife, Jimmie Sue of Stillwater, son Don and wife Julie of Yukon, son Jamey and wife Pam of Owasso, son Jeff and wife Shelli of Stillwater, seventeen grandkids, four great-grand kids and a host of family and friends who love him.
A memorial service will be held at Mehan Union Church, 8300 E. 68th St., Stillwater, Okla., on Friday, Sept. 13, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Judith Karman Hospice.
