FORMER PAROWAN WOMAN DIES IN LOS ANGELES

Word was received here Wednesday by members of her family that Mrs. Francella Adams Sorensen, 71, had died at her home in Los Angeles, California the night before. A paralytic stroke was given as the cause of her death. Mrs. Sorensen had sustained serious injuries in an accident several weeks ago and hadn't recovered.

Brief funeral services are being held in Los Angeles Friday, after which the body will be brought to Parowan for burial. Funeral services will be conducted in the Parowan East ward chapel Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock after which interment will be made in the Parowan City cemetery. The remains may be viewed at the home of Mrs. M.A. Burton Saturday afternoon and Sunday.

Mrs. Sorensen was born in Parowan in 1869, a daughter of Charles and Sarah Ann Davenport Adams. She married C.A. Sorensen and is survived by him and the following brothers and sisters: Joseph B., William Leech, and Lawrence J. Adams and Miriam Adams Burton of Parowan and Pearl Adams Decker of Kirtland, New Mexico.
