Joan Helen Trax, of Mayflower Crossings, Wilkes-Barre, died on Dec. 13, 2006, at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
She was the daughter of Olive Jean Fino and Michael Ralph Fino and the late Robert H. Trax. Ms. Trax was a 1957 graduate of Meyers High School and a retired executive secretary for Merit Oil Company in Ardmore, Pa. Surviving are daughters, Marie-Ann Sennett, Baltimore, Md.; Jane Michalla Sennett, Red Bank, N.J.; sons-in-law James G. Salvucci, Thomas A. Froehlich; granddaughters, Lauren Elizabeth and Megan Rose Froehlich, and brother Gary Michael Fino.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday Dec. 16, 2006, at the Piszczek-Desiderio Funeral Home Inc, 679 Carey Ave., Hanover Township, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Church, 25 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Donations to the American Cancer Society.
