Nick John Giell, 85, born on March 17, 1928, in Temesvar, Romania, passed away August 6, 2013. He resided in Los Angeles, California.
Nick was a longtime employee of Southern California Edison, Co. Survived a devastating 66KV flash at Alamitos Generating Station.
He retired in May of 1985.Unfortunately in the last years of his life he suffered from macular degeneration and he adapted to that by using the audio capabilities in his computer.
Christmas 2 years ago he sent some wonderful photos of him with his lovely wife Celia. The scene was the christmas festival at the famous inn in San Bernadino. If you would like to see the pictures I would be pleased to forward them to you.
