Bertha S. Burdett, 80, of 54 Dorchester Ave. died Thursday at home.
She was the widow of C. Leroy Burdett.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Bertha (Ludwig) Demers, she lived in Providence for 49 years. She previously lived in Pawtucket.
Mrs. Burdett was a member of the Church of the Master, Baptist, Providence, where she was organist for 52 years, and choir director for more than 30 years.
She is survived by a daughter, a son, two sisters, a brother and three grandchildren.
