Rosary for Mr. Cornstalk was recited Wednesday at Winchester Funeral Home.
Born on Beaver Island September 10, 1924, Mr. Cornstalk served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He returned here and later lived in Detroit. At the time of his death he was making his home with his brother, Frank in Detroit, he never married.
Surviving are three brothers, Frank of Detroit, Thomas of South Haven and Alex Jr., of Jackson; five sisters, Mrs. Alvin Kane of East Jordan, Mrs. Nelson Denemy of South Haven Mrs. Louis McSauby and Mrs. Helen Stainbrook of Charlevoix and Alvina Cornstalk of Manton and his grandfather, George Wasaghesgik of Boyne Falls.
