Walter N. Harness died suddenly at his home in Bunceton Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock.

Funeral services were held at the Bunceton Presbyterian church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 conducted by the Rep. D.B. Churton with burial in the Masonic cemetery there.

Mr. Harness was born in Cooper County Dec. 8, 1883, the son of Henry C. and Nannie Nelson Harness, and spent all his life in this community.

He was married to Miss Beth Whitaker July 31, 1918, who survives. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. L.E. Stahl of Woodward, Okla., and one brother, R.E. Harness of Speed.

Mr. Harness conducted a shoe and harness shop in Bunceton for a number of years. He was a member of the Presbyterian church in Bunceton.
