A native of Missouri, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the widow of the late Thomas Benson Plunkett.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Skinner officiating, assisted by the Rev. Calvin Phelps. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield.
Survivors include four sons, Thomas Plunkett of Montgomery, Jack Plunkett and Billy Plunkett, both of Winnfield, and C. L. "Sammy" Plunkett of Ruston; two daughters, Mrs. Margie DeLoach and Mrs. Betty Hicks, both of Arlington, Texas; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
