Found in The State 08 January 1993: Services for Brunell Crouch Sweet, 90, of 1413 Victoria Ave. will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, with burial in Elmwood Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Sweet, wife of the late Melvin Lloyd Sweet, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1993. Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Annie Belle Sheppard Crouch and Luke Vastine Crouch. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Orr Evans of Fayettevile, N. C.; a stepson, Kenneth Sweet of Lake Murray; a sister, Lorraine Murphy of Columbia; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
