On September 26, 1895 she married William H. Morehead, who was the son of William H. and Susannah Hoover Morehead. They wed in Bedford County, PA.
By 1900, the young family had moved to Salem, Columbiana, Ohio. They had two small sons, Blunner [Charles] and Ralph. Jennie's sister, Elizabeth, was living with them.
By 1910, the family had grown and still resided in Salem, Columbiana, OH. The children were:
1. ~1897- Charles P. Morehead
2. ~1899- Ralph E. Morehead
3. ~1901- Bessie Morehead
4. ~1903- Rhoda Morehead
5. ~1905- Walter Morehead
6. ~1909- Luther Morehead
1912 brought heartache. Jennie, who was pregnant, contracted measles. Her death certificate notes that the baby died from the measles infection and Jennie died from the preterm birth.
