Serafina Romiti, formerly of Allentown (PA), passed away September 3, 2013 at the age of 104. Born in Anagni Italy to Luigi and Nazzerna (nee Frattali) Viti, she was predeceased in 1979 by her husband Attilio. A sewing machine operator with Penn State Mills, she retired in 1972 after 35 years. Mrs. Romiti was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Allentown.
She is survived by her daughter Assunta Brunetta (Sue), grandchildren Roseann and husband Alfred Gabriel, and Lucio and wife Crystal Brunetta; great grandchildren Melissa and husband Logan Martin and Josh Gabriel.
Mrs. Romiti's services were on September 9 at the Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton in Allentown, and were followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus in Allentown. Donations to a charity of choice were suggested.
