EDINBURG, April 25 - Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Virginia Shipe, widow of William Shipe, who died Sunday at 6:30 p.m. will be held from her home in Powell's Fort Valley Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. Lawrence Helsley officiating. Burial will be in Sieberts Cemetery.
Mrs. Shipe had been in ill health for the past year but her condition did not become serious until four weeks ago when she suffered a stroke of paralysis.
She was a daughter of the late Amos McInturff and Mrs. Louise McInturff and was born March 16, 1856.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Claude Rush and Mrs. Brenton Bowman, of Seven Fountains and two sons, Cleveland Shipe, of Edinburg and John Shipe, at home.
