Thank you for providing the memorial to Emily Maria Bailey Cutler on Find a Grave. Your entry not only led to her date and place of death, but has answered other questions as well.
Since finding your posting I have located an Illustrated Album of Biography of Southwestern Minnesota, Occidental Publishing Co, Chicago, 1889, found online, and the record of her death on FamilySearch.org from Minnesota Death Records, 1835-1990. That explains why I was not finding her in Washington state with husband Jerome. She never left Minnesota.
The Album article on Jerome Cutler, pgs. 517-518, confirms much of what was known in family records about his and Emily's family, back to his grandparents. The children mentioned in the article match up with the 1885 Minnesota census. Family records refer to Emily as Emily "Minnie" in different sources, so that is she in the 1885 census as well -- despite the incorrect listing of her birthplace as Ohio. Her husband is indeed the Jerome Cutler buried in Washington state.
Thank you again for your posting on Find a Grave. I'm certain we have a match.
