Mary Ann Fortney Madison was married to Joseph William Maddison Madison on April 6, 1904 in Otho, Iowa. They adopted their only son George Madison and moved to Alberta, Canada in 1909. They are buried beside each other in the Lake View Cemetery, Stettler, Alberta. They were original homesteaders at Warden, Ab. Mary was a true Christian and read her bible every day. Mary and Willie's nephew Gilbert Nelson Potter is nearby.
