Tiffany L. Brandt-Ireland, 33, of New Cumberland, died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Harrisburg Hospital after a long-term battle with diabetes.
She had most recently worked for PHEAA in Harrisburg and had previously worked for Children's Home of York and Gullifty's in Camp Hill. A 1998 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, she received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002 with a double major in Psychology and Anthropology, and had completed additional graduate study at St. Francis University through the Dixon Center in Harrisburg. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers fan, she had a passion for cooking and loved animals, including her pets Niko and Eva, and was a frequent contributor to the ASPCA. She was also actively involved in raising money for American Diabetes Assn. and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, including the annual Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes.
A proud wife, daughter, sister and aunt, she is survived by her husband, Timothy D. Ireland; parents, Mark C. Brandt of New Cumberland and M. Laurie Seigworth of Irwin, PA; three brothers, Dennis M. (Jennifer) of New Cumberland, Alexander C. of Pittsburgh, and Kevin J. of New Cumberland; her father and mother-in-law, Daniel J. and Susan E. Ireland of New Cumberland; a niece, Scotland Birdie Brandt of New Cumberland; brother-in-law, Sean M. Ireland of Knoxville, TN; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
Funeral will be held at 10:30 am Monday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery.
