Her siblings were: an infant (whose gender and exact dates of birth and death are unknown) believed to have been born in mid to late 1914 and died in early 1915, Martha Frances Henry (Sides), and James Edna Henry aka Edna Mae Henry (Gary, Ferguson).
On July 21, 1941, Gracie gave birth to a son-- Harold James Armstrong-- in Harrisburg, Poinsett County, Arkansas. On October 23, 1942, 13 months after Harold James's birth, Gracie married Claude H. Armstrong in Tyronza. (Claude was the son of William F. "Will" Armstrong, Gracie's mother's brother, making Claude and Gracie first cousins.) Harold James is presumed to have been Claude's son.
Gracie's sister, Edna, has said that Harold James fell off the porch of his family's home. He died of respiratory failure due to obstructive hydrocephalus two days later on May 6, 1944.
It appears Claude remarried in 1945; no other records for Gracie have been confirmed since her son's death in 1944.
